Two in custody after Southeast High School Facebook threat
The principal of Southeast High School has notified parents that two students are in custody after the Lincoln Police Department notified the high school early Friday that the pair had been writing on Facebook about a possible weapon at school.
Principal Pat Hunter-Pirtle said in the email that police have questioned the pair and had them in custody Friday morning. He said precautions would be taken to ensure safety at the Homecoming dance Friday night.
“Every precaution has been taken to keep our students safe and maintain a normal instructional day,” he wrote.
