Mayoral debate next week at LIBA lunch

A debate between mayoral candidates Chris Beutler and Tammy Buffington is set for next week at the monthly LIBA luncheon.

The luncheon is at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday at the downtown Holiday Inn. It is open to the public and no reservations are required. The buffet line opens at 11:30 a.m. and the meeting begins at 12 noon.
It costs $11 to eat lunch but no charge to attend the meeting. Free parking in the Holiday Inn garage while it lasts.

    As a candidate for Airport Authority, I will start attending such functions. Voters of Lincoln, fliers of LNK (and OMA) please say hi to me at the luncheon.

    Did you hear Tammy’s response on Coby Mach as to whether she supported the arena? She sounds like John Kerrey, I was against the arena before I supported it.

    Get your calculators ready when Tammy starts spewing off some absurd numbers.

    John, everyone knows you are in the Mayors pocket, maybe you need a new calculators because the mayors numbers are not always right either.

    Have you heard that Chris Beutler and Tammy Buffington will co-endorse Deene Winter ?
    A colleague said she will be on American Idol and Dancing With the Stars and may be running for
    Editor of a local newpaper, her new talk show on NPR and that blog on Patch.
    This is double top secret stuff so keep it to yourself !!!
